How cool is that?! I just found it in my drawer. I believe it is made by a company called Klutz and was part of a whole book thing. I love Klutz products. They’re really great!

Join Devir and Avi as they review the top ten apps in the Apple App Store in just this ONE EPISODE!

“Naturally, one of the first places people look for ideas on purchases is the top 10 list. But the way apple has the top 10 work is by the most purchased, not actually the best. And so one day I had the idea to download all of them, so I could, review them all, and maybe even rearrange them for you into the correct actual order of not most purchased, but which are actually the best – and so, with the help of my buddy Avi, that is just what I did.”

My Thoughts On The iPhone 4 Antenna Issue (Now That The “Dust Has Settled”)

// July 19th, 2010 // No Comments » // Uncategorized

Well, there is a problem, yes. It drops calls when you cover the antenna! It’s just dumb. It’s obvious. And yeah, it happens with every phone. The only reason it was such a “problem” was because of the media. Who blows a PHONE THAT DROPS CALLS WHEN YOU COVER THE ANTENNA so out of proportion?! It’s only because it is Apple.

Now, maybe that’s not a bad thing. They should be held to high standards. I think that the problem shouldn’t have ever started though. Just don’t cover it. Who holds the phone that tight over that area anyway? Even with the bumper wrapper, I’m sure that if you squeeze tight enough you could make it drop a call, just like with any phone that has an antenna inside (although I might be wrong on that point, which does change things a bit – then it could be a conductivity issue which would be worse, I guess, but still not THIS big a deal. Just don’t COVER THE ANTENNA BY SQUEEZING LIKE A MANIAC ON YOUR PHONE!).

It’s funny how people all over say “oh, Jobs’ ego is ruining Apple”. Yet, hey – they need time to work out the problem, and then make a press conference, which is what they did. Now it’s all fine, right? Because it was never that big an issue. That’s what Jobs was driving at. People don’t return them because it is, as all websites say (except for still COnsumer Reports, who do have a valid point and reason not to), the best smartphone. It’s a small problem blown way out of proportion which is what Jobs was saying at the conference. Did he need to bring other names of phones that drop calls into it? Maybe not. But I don’t think he meant it to hurt them. He was making a point.

Was there a problem? Yes. Maybe a bit more so than other phones. But the point is that they said you can return it free of charge, and yet no one did. Curious, huh? There was a problem, but not big enough to result in this massive “World War 3″.

And the best proof of that is the fact that people still like their iPhone 4.

An UNBELIEVABLE Short Film About A Bear

// July 16th, 2010 // No Comments » // Uncategorized

This is truly incredible. Really really just a wondrous portrayal of how amazing the creatures that roam this earth are.

I have no idea how this sort of a thing was filmed, but just incredible nonetheless. I was not sure if I was crazy about the added “human-like” whimpering sounds that was added to the bear cub, but towards the end I think they added a lot. And that last scene! Brilliant!

Absolutely amazing job by whoever did this.

Wow.

Take the time to look at our wonderful earth, when it’s not being destroyed by idiots spilling oil into our water.

Wow. Our world is amazing.
