All the details about sponsoring any of the shows here on TDKN are given in this video. Plus, I have new news (wordplay overtakes redundancy,) on other ways to sponsor ads, and get your name out there. I also talk a little bit about my policies on sponsorships as well.

Why don’t you have a gaming console? [As asked on FormSpring]

I’m just not a big gamer like that. Yet, at least. I like the occasional computer game, and such, but my family has just never gotten a console.

Would I want one? Sure. Do I have one? No.

For now…

If your keyboard and mouse is on top of your desk, where do you do your writing/school work? [As asked on FormSpring]

// June 20th, 2010 // No Comments » // Community, Education, General, How To, Life, School

Valid point…

I believe I have answered this one before, but essentially, I still have plenty of room. For one, I have an empty keyboard tray under my right-hand desk. Two, I can easily put my laptop on a shelf under that same desk and then I have a totally empty (just about) desk to use for writing – and mind you, that is what I sometimes do. I can also just push my laptop backwards on that same desk to make tons more room for writing.

But I think more so than all of that, is the fact that most of my work is done on my computers. Most of it is all typing, or writing, and so on. I would say about %90 of my school work can be done on my computer.

That answer your question? :)

What is your favorite Internet browser? [As asked on FormSpring]

// June 18th, 2010 // 5 Comments » // Apple, Community, Internet, Social Media, Tech

I would definitely have to say it’s Safari. It’s the nicest looking browser by far, and I always just loved the way it functions. Now, I do use Chrome as a secondary browser, and I have FIreFox installed as well, but I just always liked the design and the way Safari functioned.

(Now that only happens to be if you are on a Mac. It is not quite as nice on a PC. Then, I’d say go Chrome.)

Plus, now with Safari 5, there are finally extension and all sorts of other nice new features that really make using it even better. (I got this cool Google Reader plugin the other day that is just Fraggin’ AWESOME!)

On that note though, and with this I shall conclude, I would have to say that I did notice that the Safari 5 update did slow things down to some degree. It seems they would just have to work on optimization a little more. I just can’t switch to any other browser though.

So, to recap – Safari 5 it is for me!

Testing The Symmetrical Face Theory

// April 27th, 2010 // No Comments » // Community, Fun, Life, Photos

It was told to me by someone, at sometime – neither of which I remember – that if you were to take one half of your face, and mirror it for the other side of your face, you would hardly be able to recognize yourself. The reason for this is because a human faces is not, and is never supposed to be, perfectly symmetrical. The right side of your face is not symmetrical with the left side, and vice versa. This being the case, taking either of the sides, and flipping the image to use for the other side of your face – thus making a perfectly symmetrical face – would just look plain weird.

Well…

Of course I had to find out for myself so I took a picture of myself, flipped the right side to use as the left side of my face, and here is the result:

Symmetrical Face

Strange to say the least, but I certainly could recognize myself. What do you think? All I have to say is that I’m glad my face is not perfectly symmetrical.

What’s that? You want to see the original? Request obliged:

Original Symmetrical Face Shot

Wondering how I knew that you wanted to see the original? Oh, it’s nothing…. Just mind reading…

And of course, if any of you would like to try the same “experiment”, comment below with a link to your picture.

One Thousand And Beyond!

// April 18th, 2010 // 2 Comments » // Blog, Business, Community, General, Life, TechKnowledgey

Thank you to all of my subscribers and viewers of the show. None of this would be possible, or worth all the work, without you. It’s been truly unbelievable how it took only a few months to arrive at a day I thought may never come. And now that it’s here, let’s keep it going! It’s all been incredibly exciting, we have some new shows coming, and I think we’re going somewhere great. I’m so glad to be doing this all, and the audience that I have amassed is just outstanding.

So thank you, everyone. Pulling of the show on top of school, and everyday life is a little difficult at times, but with my amazing friend and assistant Avi, and his commitment, we somehow are able to do it. TechKnowledgey couldn’t be the show that it is without you – and I think we can all agree, this whole thing is pretty awesome!

And yes, the next show is indeed airing tomorrow :)
