Hey. Firstly, you don’t have to answer this question if you don’t want to. How do your peers at school etc. react when they see your YouTube channel and site etc? [As asked on FormSpring]

// July 7th, 2010 // No Comments » // Blog, Education, General, Internet, Life, Media, School, Tech

Good question!

At first people thought it was kind of “out there”, but I think as time went on, people thought it was just a “thing”. Just like anyone else plays basketball, or is a “bookworm”, so I had a website and have a bunch of viewers.

I was nervous at first too, and I always have trouble with the line “don’t worry what others think”, but I just did it. It’s become more of a topic of conversation now with me. Maybe always in a joking way, but never anything truly bad.

Have I gotten the occasional strange, or awkward comment? Sure, but it bounces off.

Maybe I’m just lucky. But I’m not the ONLY one, you know :)

Why don’t you have a gaming console? [As asked on FormSpring]

I’m just not a big gamer like that. Yet, at least. I like the occasional computer game, and such, but my family has just never gotten a console.

Would I want one? Sure. Do I have one? No.

For now…

An Ode To Toy Story 3

// June 17th, 2010 // 1 Comment » // Comic, Entertainment, Fun, Life, Media

Granted, Toy Story 3 is not quite in theatres yet, but that doesn’t in any way stop me from sharing with you this AWESOME picture that my good friend Avi showed me today:

Ode Toy Story 3

Thought that was pretty funny…

Anyways…

Now, Toy Story 3 comes out this Friday (yes, I believe that would mean tomorrow, unless you live in some parallel universe or something, in which case you may have seen it already… hmm… well don’t ruin it for me), and I can’t help but contain my excitment! No? I mean, am I the only “adult” who kind of, sort, of actually, really wants to see this movie? And even if you don’t look at it like that, the technology in the movie, and the INCREDIBLE animation you will see, definitely is enough of a reason for me to see it, alone.

I don’t know… Toy Story is just one of those CLASSIC great Pixar movies. How can you not go watch it?

Opening day? Nope. Not for me. I’ll wait it off a bit until I can actually have my own seat.

I’m sure as heck seeing it though.

Oh, How Far We’ve Come…

// June 14th, 2010 // No Comments » // Electronics, Entertainment, Fun, Media, Software, Tech, Video

This could arguably be the worst fight scene of all time:

Intense, I know…

Now, as someone who works a lot with video and such, I find it incredibly interesting to watch these sorts of old clips. Now obviously this video was just plain old BAD choreography, but even watching any professionally shot movie, I find myself analyzing camera angles and such, and seeing how I can incorporate new techniques and ideas into my own shows.

And then, it’s always interesting to look back and see how far we truly have come in the world of video editing and movie creation. It really is amazing.

My iOS 4 Home-Screens

// June 12th, 2010 // No Comments » // Apple, Electronics, Gadgets, Internet, Life, Media, Photos, Reviews, Software, Tech, iPhone

Considering that I now have iOS 4 installed before it’s official release date, I was able to play around a bit with it’s new (and quite frankly awesome and insanely useful) app organization features. You can now use folders to organize your apps, which is really great for quite a few reasons. I like being organized, and I figured, why not at least show you my new iPod Touch’s Home-Screens (I only have 2 now!) on the new iOS 4. So here they are in all their folder-full glory:

You like?

There are quite a few other nice features as well, and iOS 4 goes live for everyone in just a few more weeks on the (excuse me while I check my calendar…. ah, yes…) 21st of June. Excited? I am.
