500 Subscriber Giveaway Winner and Thank You

After hitting 500 subscribers on YouTube, like promised I have selected a winner for Photoshop CS3. The winner is ‘humble336′ on YouTube, so congratulations! While only one person could win the software, I want to thank each and everyone of you for subscribing and being a part of my growing community.

After all, this would not at all be possible without you. If you all hadn’t clicked that subscribe button I would still have a big fat zero subscribers. I have come a long way in these past few months and I am looking forward to where, with all your help, I will be going.

My YouTube channel is not about giveaways or free products, though, and I don’t want people to subscribe for that. It’s about helping people, technology, of course TechKnowledgey, and community and networking. I love doing this, and you all make it possible. Thank you.

There are 277 Of You Now – Let’s Make That 1,000

I currently have 277 subscribers on YouTube, and I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to all of you. I also have devised a scheme to get me to becoming a YouTube partner. You can do it by just getting at least ONE other person to subscribe, and tell them to do the same.

Think about it – I could upload videos longer than 10 minutes. There would be much bigger giveaways (I’m talking iPod Nano, Flip Video). How awesome would it be if I were a YouTube partner?

I’m Giving Away Adobe CS3!

After the successful giveaway of TuneUp 2010 I thought it time to begin another giveaway, this time of something even more substantial. I’m giving away to one lucky subscriber a free copy of Adobe Creative Suite 3! That’s right! Photoshop CS3 and Fireworks CS3 to one lucky winner! (Please note: it is not the entire package – just the two applications listed.)

Of course, seeing that CS3 is quite an expensive, powerful, and popular program, the requirements for this giveaway are a little higher. This time, I will be giving away CS3 as soon as I reach 500 subscribers. I will be using the same fair, random number generator as I did to giveaway TuneUp 2010, and I can’t wait for someone to win! The Winner Of TuneUp 2010!

As you all know, assuming you’ve been watching my channel for the past few weeks, I started a giveaway that would take place once I hit 200 subscribers. Well, last night I hit that mark, and so the giveaway for TuneUp 2010 (from http://tune-up.com/) has happened!

I chose the winner from my 200 subscribers using a random number generator to determine the page, and then the number on the page of the lucky subscriber that won. It was totally random, and as fair as I can imagine possible.

Of course, only one person could win though, and the winner is ‘hasibul1′ on YouTube and I will be contacting him with all the information. Congratulations hasibul1, and to everyone else, a big thank you for subscribing, and there will be more and even better giveaways coming, so stay tuned!

What I Want From Chris Pirillo Doesn’t Cost Money

I heard that Chris Pirillo was going to be giving someone something for free this holiday season, and the receiver could choose what it was that they wanted Chris to buy for them. Sounded like a great idea, and so I entered, posting this video as a response to Chris’s video.

What I want is not an object, or a product – it doesn’t even cost any money. What I want is publicity. Moreover, to become a YouTube partner. This has been something that I have wanted for a long long time. Chris, with his large community of followers and dedicated fans, is the first person I would want to help me with this. I know he could do make something like this happen. I have seen him get people a thousand Twitter followers in mere minutes, and I would love for him to promote my YouTube channel.

I feel that I have much to offer, and really want to reach more people online, and expand my audience. I am thankful t all my current subscribers, and hopefully will be able to be thankful to all of my new ones. I hope I win and to everyone else who entered, good luck!

  • TuneUp 2010 is PC only. (So, if you only have a Mac, and have no other use for it, just keep that in mind if you do win.)
